I have been using think fly with both of my horses. For the first month I fed them each 4 scoops per day, and then reduced it to 3 scoops each per day. I do feel there was an improvement and they were bothered less by the midges. I did continue to use some repellant spray on them at times. Previously the spray and rugging were not sufficient to totally prevent all insect bites. With the addition of the Think Fly I feel they did show significantly less irritation due to Qld Itch.

Think Fly is unique in the fact that it can be given to your horse in his or her feed once a day. It took a short period to start working on our 'test horse' BJ, who is a chronic QLD Itcher each summer but we noticed a good reduction in the number of flies annoying him as compared to the other horses. While we didn't notice a complete and 100% no fly zone around BJ, he was a lot more comfortable, stamping his feet and shaking his head less and the reduction in scratching has allowed the tail hair to grow back and no bare spots to be seen on his coat . . . BJ did put on a couple of kilos and his coat took an extra shine to it too which is a nice bonus.

Thank you for allowing us to trial the product "Think Fly". As discussed we used it on our empty brood mares during the period while they were being fed with oats. We mixed the product with oats and there was never any remaining. The summer was a bad season for flies but while the mares were being treated with "Think Fly" they appeared less bothered then usual. There was a decreased incidence of "itch" this season in general and this was also reflected in my mares. The horses also this season appeared very well, they maintained good body condition and had good coats.
This initial trial was not a scientific study but only a purely clinical study, but the initial results seemed positive for this product.

I have been using Think Fly now for 8 weeks. My mare, who was constantly bothered by flies and mosquitos is now calm and relaxed. She has stopped itching when before she was rubbing herself raw. Her body condition has also improved and I am now saving money on feed. The most remarkable difference is her coat condition – it is truly amazing to see the colour has deepened and now has a silk like appearance.

We’ve been adding the Think Fly granules to ‘Footie’s’ food for a few weeks now. Either there are no flies around this summer, or the granules are super effective, but there has not been a problem with flies so far. Can I get some more?

I am very pleased with the product. The flies are deterred and coat condition of my horse has improved and his weight has gained. I will continue to use Think Fly.

I used Think Fly on my grey 17HH thoroughbred. His cot has improved, his temperament is much calmer and the flies do not bother him. I am very happy with the product and will continue to use it.

Pharaoh (Black Friesian Poddy Calf) was fed 1 scoop morning and evenings when the flies were really bad. After a week to 10 days there was a significant decrease in the fly population around him. Only 3-4 flies instead of 20-30.
We kept him on that for 6 weeks and when he was taken off it the flies came back along with the calf smell. While he was on the supplement his coat was clean and shiny and he gained weight.

I am trialling the Think Fly and although the flies are not too bad at the moment, I can tell you that it appears to be doing a good job, as usually we do get bot eggs on the horses at this time of year and they were around earlier but seem to have disappeared. The horses seem to really like the taste, even though it smells quite strongly. Even the foal is happy to eat it. There are no flies around the trial horses at the moment so I guess it is effective! And the horses look shiny and well, the supplement seems to have lots of goodies in it which would be good for their health.
I would certainly consider using it on a regular basis as I feel it is effective and I like the idea that the ingredients are all very healthy and good for the horse's well being even aside from the fly repellent benefits.

I tried the Think Fly for three months, picking the one horse in the herd that had the most problems with fly nuisance. Not only was that horse calm and happy and relatively fly free while all the other horses were head-shaking, tail swishing and kicking their bellies, but his coat gleamed. I am really happy with this product and want to know where to get more of it for next summer!

I ride a couple of friend's horses out for them. Last Friday, I rode both of them when it was very warm. They are kept within a couple of miles from each other, so I actually ride out on the same country lanes, and there was only about an hour between both rides. When I rode the second horse we were both plagued by flies and midges, they were a real nuisance. This made me realise that I had no such problems with the first horse-in fact only a single horse fly landed, and this was on me! It wasn't until later that I realised that the first horse I rode is fed Think Fly, where as the second one isn't! I am already feeding the Tub to my own horses, but I was amazed at the difference I saw on Friday. Surely this can only be down to Think Fly? On telling this story to both owners, the second said they will order some Think Fly for their horse too, where as the first owner commented that she hadn't really noticed the flies this year - this is probably because she has been feeding Think Fly since spring!

I have two appaloosas, one aged 10, the other just 2. Both suffer with major fly problems, including lumps and bumps and distressed behaviour. The ridden horse wears a sweet itch rug and mask in the field and is difficult to ride with the flies, and the youngster had started to rub his mane and tail to the point of becoming sore.
I have been using both Think Fly Tub and Granules. After a couple of weeks I started to see an improvement and I was completely satisfied with the products after 8 weeks. The results have been fantastic! The mare has calmed down a lot and no longer wears a rug. The youngster's mane and tail have started to grow back and the skin is healing. There are still flies about but they do not land or stay around for long. For years I have wasted a lot of time and money on all kinds of lotions and potions, rugs etc. The animals hated being sprayed and being dragged in all the time. This is the only product I have ever tried in over 30 years that works! Thank you.
(P.S. I recommend it to everyone!)

My Connemara gets urticaria as a reaction to fly bites in the summer. In the past the Vet has recommended an anti-septic fly spray. I have been feeding Think Fly for 3 months and saw a difference after just a few days. It is a great product to assist with fly sprays and is palatable, unlike other fly supplements.

My Welsh B is bothered by flies. Last year he was very itchy, but so far this year he has been fine. In the past I have used various sprays and rub-ons. I started feeding Think Fly straight away, and very soon I noticed that the flies started to leave him alone. The product is excellent.

We have about 20 Icelandic horses, and we breed, train and compete. Icelandics are particularly susceptible to Sweet-itch, and Icelandic horse owners are experts in the pros and cons of every preparation, both natural and chemical, known to man and horse. We are also experts in every fly rug you have heard of, and many you probably have never come across, in order to find a good way of keeping our horses comfortable during the midgey months.
Having had considerable success with some of your sheep products, I have tried the Think Fly tubs and granules, and am amazed at the huge difference they make to our horses' comfort. Chemicals and rugs are a thing of the past, and if we use the Think Fly properly and consistently, it is the only thing we need to use.

My two geldings suffer horribly with flies, and no matter how many products I have tried nothing seemed to last effectively. It made riding in the summer difficult as they were so miserable with flies all around them. Thank goodness a friend told me about Think Fly! Both horses loved the granules in their feed and after a fortnight I was really pleased with the product. For the first time my horses were virtually fly free and therefore much happier. This product really works.

I have been feeding Think Fly all summer and my horse has not needed to wear her fly rug this year.
